A Quality Engineer is needed immediately for a leading Automotive Component Manufacturing company located North of Kennesaw, GA. Qualified candidates must have 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a direct hire position and local candidates are only needed at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Quality Techs and Assemblers on the floor when something is found in the Quality Audits to correct the situation.
  • Review production lines to assure proper use of control plans and process sheet.
  • Diagnose defective material rejected during manufacturing process and identify the need for corrective action.
  • Assist in maintaining TS16949

Requirements

  • 4 Engineering Degree in related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in assembly is a must.
