    CT AERO THERMAL ENGINEER opportunity in southeast Florida. Need MS Engineering and 20 years related experience. Includes relocation.

    Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer

    • Responsible for design and validation of the combustion systems forgas turbine considering operability, performance, durability
    • Lead for team designing, engineering and evaluating low emissions combustion system for gas turbine
    • Aerodynamic design combustion systems and its validation by testing (scaled and full pressure) to meet program goals and overall gas turbine product level issues
    • Identifying improvements in processes and tools, supporting design best practices and develop predictions and methods to validate combustor performance

    Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer

    • Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering,aerospace engineering, or related discipline
    • Minimum 20 years industrial experience with Solid understanding of combustion, emissions associated with gas turbine, ranging from overallcomponent design to detailed understanding aerodynamic and combustion dynamics physics
    • Component and full-scale testing experience - planning, instrumentation, test conduct, data analysis
    • Experience integrating combustion system designs in the overall engine system
    • A PLUS to have experience as technical leader of combustor development for large frame gas turbine at OEM or equivalent
