    Describe your industrial experience in structural-mechanical design of heavy duty gas turbine and experience in Stress, LCF, HCF, TMF, vibration, aero-elastic failure mode for turbine system especially high class turbine blade-vane

    TURBINE STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER opportunity in southeast Florida. Need MS Engineering and 15 years related experience. Includes relocation.

    Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer

    • Develop gas turbine designs with a focus on structural reliability and durability such as thermo-mechanical, vibration, aero-elastic, fatigue and lifeevaluation
    • Lead the development and analysis of advanced technology gas turbine systems considering reliability and cost
    • Conduct FEM Analysis, Modal analysis, Vibration analysis, Fatigue and Life estimation using 1/2/3D tools
    • Design turbine systems to meet program goals related to turbine system and overall gas turbine product requirements
    • Develop predictions and methods to validate turbine reliability performance

    Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer

    • Master Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
    • Minimum of 15 years of industrial experience in structural/mechanical design of heavy duty gas turbine
    • Experience in Stress, LCF, HCF, TMF, vibration, aero-elastic failure mode for turbine system, especially high class turbine blade/vane
    • V-series(Siemens) machine experience(especially turbine blade/vane)
    • Autocad & NX (Unigraphics) experience, Ansys experience, Life analysis Tool experience.
    • Excellent skill of thermo-structural, Fatigue and life design for the turbine components
    • Experience in experimental methods in stress, vibration and experimental data processing
