World-wide leader in the manufacture of industrial products seeks an ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH, & SAFETY (EHS) MANAGER for its facility locates justsouth of DALLAS, TX. The EHS Manager supports the facility in developing both tactical and strategic measures to ensure the proper management of plant safety processes, and provides feedback on strengths and focus areas to the executive team. Responsibilities

• Provides direction on improvement strategies and feedback on safety performance to the executive team on an on-going basis
• Reviews incident reports to make sure quality, accuracy, and investigation of the report meets quality standards
• Coaches / trains plant personnel on proper execution of risk assessment process
• Develops the training presentation for the executive team to present at the monthly safety meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferrably in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or Industrial Hygiene) with at least 3 years experience as an EHS Manager in a manufacturing facility
• Experience leading, mentoring, and coaching in manufacturing organizations
• Demonstated technical/professional Knowledge and Skills in EHS to include local, state, and federal regulations and codes
