Leading manufacturer located in Vermont is looking to hire a sharp Process Technician. The Process Technician will possess at least 1 year of experience with plastic injection molding machinery. The Process Technician should also have hands-on abilities to set-up, change, and maintain 35 to 200 ton molding machines in a manufacturing environment. This role is a hourly (permanent) position ranging from $24 - $27/hr with time and a half after 40 hours per week and an excellent relocation package. All candidates must open to a C shift position and be legally authorized to work in the United States.


  • Perform mold set-up, start-up, troubleshooting, repair and approval of production runs using accepted GW quality standards.
  • Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure the production of a quality product.
  • Monitor molding parameters using approved techniques such as SPC/SQC, to ensure conformance to quality guidelines and standard cycles.
  • Perform record keeping. This includes, but may not be limited to, cavitation levels, downtime reasons, machine logs, process changes, tool issues, etc.
  • Initiate work orders to correct problems with molds, molding machines and auxiliary equipment.


  • Hands-on experience with setting up, changing, and maintaining 35 to 200 ton molding machines in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime and weekends
  • Flexibility to work a C Shift - 12 hour shifts (6 am - 6 pm) every other Wednesday and Thursday, Friday, Saturday


  • Hourly salary dependent on experience ranging from $24 - $27/hr
