A manufacturing company considered one of the world’s leading innovators in materials science is looking for 3 IT Desktop Support Associates in the Hickory, NC area. This is a 1-year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. No per diem is available. This is a combination of Desktop Support and SAP Troubleshooting position.

Responsibilities for the Help Desk

  • Provides support to users including problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up steps. Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.Works under general supervision. Follows established procedures.
  • Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Requirements for the Help Desk

  • Associate's Degree or higher is required.
  • Candidate must possess 2+ years IT experience with SAP and Desktop experience.
  • Desktop support and Service now experience is a plus and ITIL foundation is a bonus.
