Immediate need for an Human Resources Manager with Labor Relations experience in Salt Lake City, Utah for a growing international packaging organization. This role is responsible to develop and execute labor relation strategies for the plant. Candidates must have a BS degree in a Human Resources field with at least seven (7) years of union negotiation and labor relations experience for a manufacturing organization. This is a direct hire opportunity.


  • Develop and execute labor relation strategies for the plant
  • Lead efforts to develop strategy for economic bargaining and training to prepare for upcoming negociations
  • Counsel and coach employees and managers regarding employee relations
  • Drive change, define organizational needs, determine training needs, resolve employee issues, and contribute to reaching plan objectives
  • Conduct detailed studies concerning labor relations issues and strategies
  • Plans, coordinates, and develops Labor Relations protocol
  • Ensure effective talent management is handled through recruitment and development plans


  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Resources or related discipline
  • Must have at least seven (7) years of Plant Human Resources experience
  • Must have Union environment experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Must have experience with contract administration and Union negociation
  • Knowledge in state and federal labor laws and regulations
