An engineering and construction client has need for a Program Controls Specialist in the Los Angeles, CA area. This is a possible temp to hire position. No per diem.


  • Provide quality assurance to College staff and program managers regarding finances. Evaluate and oversee monthly cost reports and monthly progress reports. Participate in meetings to review the cost and schedule performance to determine issues with the project.
  • Evaluate contract change orders, task order requests, and make changes to guarantee a consistent budget.
  • Provide support and respond to requests of financial information. Communicate with different technical leads in order to understand and discuss problems that may have an effect on the budget.


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related degree.
  • Experience working through an entire life cycle of a project.
  • Knowledge of practices and principles of budget management and risk assessment.
