A manufacturing company considered one of the world’s leading innovators in materials science is looking for a Field Service Project Manager in the Seattle, WA area. This is a 1-year CONTRACT position. No per diem is available.


  • Communicate with customers to make sure their expectations are met. Plan and design fiber optic hardware and cable routing for both OSP and ISP applications. Conduct pre-construction surveys of the sites to detect any issues that could lead to additional costs.
  • Consult with fiber optic plant construction to guarantee that products are being properly installed within guidelines and procedures. Perform safety audits. Create a report daily for the project manager that details construction progress.
  • Perform data entry and troubleshooting. Manage and organize construction documents, change orders, job completion documents, and be familiar with 'local' building and construction codes.


  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering or Project Management preferred.
  • Two years of experience in telecommunication and/or project management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good eye sight for working with fiber optics. Willingness to travel, 50% or more of time is spent traveling.
