An engineering and construction client has need for a Project Development Manager in the Los Angeles, CA area. This is a 1-year CONTRACT position with the possibility to become permanent. No per diem.


  • Plans and organizes the implementation of pre-constructions activities. Accountable for the scope, schedule, budget, and overall success of many new projects.
  • Resolves planning, design, and construction-related issues. Creates, assigns, and observes performance of Assistant Facility Development Managers, Design Managers, and Design professionals related to assigned projects. Reports on the project budget, schedule, and any issues to arise and reports the issues to the proper channels.
  • Work with representatives from different utility and government agencies to gain timely action on phases of project completion. Provide overall financial management to various projects.


  • 10 years of experience managing different projects.
  • 5 years of experience working construction on educational facilities or other public works projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • A valid Certificate and registration as an Architect or a Construction Manager Certificate preferred.
