An engineering and construction client has a need for a Electrical / Instrumentation & Control Engineer in the Richland, WA area. This is a 4-month CONTRACT position with the possibility of becoming permanent after working a minimum of 520 hours. Per diem is available for the first 30 days only.


  • Provide system design reviews; assessments of facility and system construction and system / facility turnover; and assessments to verify that the project contractor has adequate design and quality documentation to support an Operational Readiness Review (ORR) and eventual operation of the project facility.
  • Perform walkdowns and surveillances of system and component testing. Review system turnover documentation, system test procedures and testing results, and operational testing and test reports.
  • Perform reviews of startup and commissioning plans and strategies, testing schedules, and resource plans for reasonableness and risk.


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrial Engineering or a related discipline is required, but a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer registration or certification in the field of expertise and an active membership in a professional society is required.
  • Need to be considered an expert in the engineering field with at least 20 years of experience.
