Global supplier of specialty products for the automotive industry seeks a SALES / ACCOUNT MANAGER for its SOUTHEAST REGION. The SALES / ACCOUNT MANAGER is responsible for increasing the company’s revenues by achieving sales objectives within an assigned territory or account with a focus on industrial and automotive customers in the southeastern part of the US. This position generates his/her own leads and develops programs to achieve maximum sales volume consistent with sales projections. Automotive industry experience a must! IMMEDIATE, DIRECT-HIRE OPPORTUNITY WITH A WORLD CLASS ORGANIZATION!


  • Responsible for increasing revenue by achieving sales objectives in existing and new accounts.
  • Create and manage territory and account strategies to deliver on price and mix objectives.
  • Provide custom product recommendations, samples, technical support, pricing and service information on demand.
  • Proactively identify new accounts using screening techniques, referrals, and prospecting to potential customers within territory.


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years applicable sales or related experience with custom products in the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in a sales position that involved negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management positions or similar experience.
  • Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts.
  • Qualified candidates should currently reside in the SE, or be willing to move to South Carolina
