A Safety Manager is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in the northwest St. Louis metropolitan area (Troy). The Safety Manager is responsible for leading the overall facility safety plans and initiatives. Qualified candidates must have a BS or AS Degree in Safety, and 3+ years’ of related safety experience for a manufacturing organization. This is a long term contract opportunity, and our client is only seeking local candidates or candidates willing to relocate themselves at this time.


  • Lead the overall facility safety plans and initiatives
  • Support incident investigation at manufacturing site and develop recurrence prevention plans
  • Develop incident rate reduction activities
  • Conduct site reviews; update facility safety standards
  • Support site safety audits and inspection systems and processes


  • Minimum 3+ years’ of related safety experience for a manufacturing organization
  • BS or AS degree in Occupational Safety
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing safety regulations including OSHA, NSI,and NFPA
  • Experience within a casting or machining environment is preferred
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time is required
