World leader in the manufacture of automotive drive train components seeks a LEAN SYSTEMS EXPERT for its facility located near Asheville, NC. The LEAN SYSTEMS EXPERT will lead and manage the deployment of the Organizational Production System, methodologies, standards, and processes utilizing customer demand operating principles across the network. IMMEDIATE, DIRECT-HIRE OPPORTUNITY WITH A WORLD CLASS ORGANIZATION!


  • Develops/deploys demand driven principles and lean strategies that support operational excellence and long range strategic plans
  • Coordinates process improvement projects including planning, scheduling, and execution of organizational production system initiatives throughout the plant network
  • Identifies opportunities to implement common processes and best practices from other sites and businesses


  • BS degree in engineering or related field
  • Minimum 6 years experience in operations and lean manufacturing / operational excellence activities in a high mix-low volume production environment
  • Lean Certification and Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required
