An OEM manufacturer of electronic solutions in the greater Clearwater, FL area is seeking a skilled Business Development/Sales Engineer. You will use consultative sales strategies to drive growth within existing accounts while expanding the company's relationship with other organizations. You will also work closely with inside sales and engineering to meet customer needs and expectations. In addition to the salary, you are eligible for an upcapped performance based bonus.   • Develop sales strategy targeting OEM clients both new and existing and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Show competency in the application and engineering of company products to effectively deliver the right custom solution to the client.
  • Recognize and Identify new opportunities in alignment with Company's business strategy, evaluate customer needs, influence and manage customer’s product development process, negotiation of pricing, commercial contracts and client requirements
  • Adhere to Company standards of customer service excellence while upholding the integrity of the internal value add processes and offerings put in place to increase sales growth.
  • Documentation, coordinate and manage scope of work, deliverables and keeping up with all opportunities and projects at every phase of customer’s product development process
  • Serve as the primary commercial and technical point of contact between customers,


  • Bachelors Degree in relative field of Engineering; BSEE or BSME highly preferred
  • Minimum of Ten (10) years of account management and/or sales engineering experience in the sale of engineered components and/or systems to OEM customers is required
  • Understanding of OEM sales process and customer expectations is required.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications is required.
