Electrical power generation client is currently seeking an Field Project Manager in the North Bend, OH area. This is a 1-year CONTRACT position. No per diem is available.

Responsibilities

  • The Field Project Manager (FPM) is responsible for providing the on-site point of interface between the PM and the construction crews and oversight specialists (inspectors) working projects assigned to the PM.
  • The FPM will be required to understand the scope of the work required by the project and will review and assess the construction plan to achieve the scope of work, as developed by the construction contractor or Duke Energy Construction supervisor.
  • The FPM will monitor progress to the plan, assess problems and issues experienced by the construction contractor, and maintain a regular reports/communications of findings with the PM. This will include but is not limited to progress to plan, productivity, staffing at site, and labor, material, public relation issues.

Requirements

  • Two year degree and 5 plus years of work related experience or 7 plus years related experience in lieu of a degree required. Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of similar construction work experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of project management related systems and tools, e.g., Primavera, MS Project, Maximo, MS Office (word, excel, access, etc.) preferred. Substantial specific knowledge in construction areas such as electrical, relaying, apparatus, substation and line construction preferred. Substantial knowledge of industry substation, apparatus, relaying and line construction practices preferred.
