Client that designs & constructs gas processing plants & refineries is looking for a Lead Process Engineer to join their team. You need a BSChE degree and 7-10+ years of experience supporting gas processing (natural gas, ethane recovery, sulfur, hydrocarbon, nitrogen rejection, gas treating, etc...) and/or refining EPC projects. Responsibilities

• Provide information throughout the various proposal, engineering and construction phases to the proposal and project teams with regard to all aspects of Process Engineering
• Perform a thorough review of customer’s inquiry and/or Request for Process Design information
• Perform process simulations and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s) and Heat and Material Balances
• Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, separators, reactors, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets
• Prepare material selection designation (diagram) for plant requirements
• Flare system analysis and final reporting including the sizing of the relief valve inlet and outlet line sizing

Requirements

• BSChE degree
• 7-10+ years of experience as a Process Engineer supporting gas & refining EPC projects
• Must have strong working knowledge of a process simulation software like UniSim, HYSYS, VMGsim, etc
• Experience in process simulation on gas or refining plants is needed
