Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for RELAY TEST TECHNICIANS. Client is currently seeking candidates in the Northeast USA including VT, NH, ME, CT, NY, and MA. Relocation is not required but you must be within reasonable traveling distance to these areas. Pay rate based on depth of experience, range of direct experience, and education. Great opportunity with a stable industry leader. Overtime pay (1.5 x straight time) and per diem/expenses are available. Client prefers candidates located in the Northeast. Responsibilities - Test substation automation systems such as relays, annunciators, RTU's, communication gateways, etc
- Provide technical support to protection and controls engineers
Requirements - 4+ years experience in the electrical testing industry
- Experience in the installation and testing of electromechanical and microprocessor based protective relay schemes
- Experience with circuit breakers, ground fault systems, and protective relay testing
- Familiarity with necessary test equipment
- Must be open to extensive travel
