IMMEDIATE NEED for an Antenna Systems Engineer in Western North Carolina. Need 5+ years experience in the Satcom Industry. A relocation package will be offered as well as excellent benefits, profit sharing, and bonuses twice a year

Responsibilities

• Development of job proposals – design and ROM cost estimates
• Customer Specification review and analysis – compliance assessments
• Perform Link analysis, Antenna and Control system performance evaluation
• Project Management – schedule, cost and performance objectives
• Detailed design of electromechanical components and assemblies
• Generation of engineering BOMs, drawings, specifications, diagrams
• Testing of electromechanical assemblies – test procedures, test reports
• Electromechanical component selection
• Fabrication and evaluation of prototypes
• Vendor liaison
• Customer technical interface – design reviews, presentations

Requirements

• ABET accredited Engineering graduate (BSME, BSEE) Masters Degree preferred
• Minimum Five years of experience in Satellite Communications Industry, preferably directly involved in the Earth Station and VSAT antennas and systems design, testing, installation with increasing levels of responsibility
• Must have experience with Satellite Antenna Systems
• Demonstrated experience in managing development and production programs, writing proposals, systems engineering applied to defining solutions fulfilling customer’s loosely defined requirements
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office, MRP tools, Mechanical, Systems or RF CAD tools
• Experience with Servo Control Systems, RF Component Design, and Electrical Circuit Design is highly preferred
• Candidate needs to have be an electro mechanical engineer with about and 80% focus on electrical and 20% mechanical
