Client is looking for several Electrical Construction Supervisors for a 12+ month contract assignment in New Jersey. You need 10+ years of experience supporting electrical construction activities on high voltage (16kV or above) substation construction projects. Our client is looking for candidates that are local to state of New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Direct the assembly of large, oil filled power transformers and other high voltage electrical equipment
• Operate & manage company owned oil degasification & processing equipment
• This includes the set-up, operation, test coordination and final acceptance of the transformer as well oil rig break-down upon completion
• Supervise the work of Subcontractors involved in the electrical construction of high voltage substation projects
• Inspect the job site daily to ensure completion in accordance with established designs, specifications and company & industry standards
• Travel to different locations throughout NJ in support of multiple T&D construction projects

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Construction Superintendent over high voltage (16kV or above) substation and T&D construction projects
• Experience supervising assembly of large, oil filled power transformers
• Hands on experience operating & managing oil degasification and processing equipment
• Experience with the set-up, operation, test coordination & final acceptance of the transformer as well as oil rig break-down upon completion
• Need experience with other high voltage equipment found in substations, to include switches, circuit breakers, and similar equipment
