Client involved in designing and manufacturing gas turbines components is currently looking for a few Mechanical Designers with 3-10+ years of related experience. You need to be very proficient using ProE solid modeling software. Our client is looking to hire these people directly but will consider hiring candidates on a contract basis as well.

Responsibilities

Modeling and drafting industrial gas turbine (IGT) components
Creation of electronic data files that support part definition for manufacturing
Produce drawings that convey design intent clearly and accurately
Calculate proper fits and tolerances to agree with corresponding dimensions of adjacent components

Requirements

3-10+ years of experience as a Mechanical Designer
3+ years of experience using ProE solid modeling software
Experience designing parts with ProE related to aircraft engines, generators, motors, or similar rotating equipment (ideally, gas turbine components)
Solid understanding & experience with ANSI Y14.5 geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
2 year Mechanical Drafting Degree preferred
