A rapidly growing telecommunications construction and specialty installations firm has openings for hands-on Construction Site Supervisors for the Midwest Region. The initial project will be in the Columbus, OH area.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of on-site construction activity for company's regional projects
• Responsible for assigned construction project finishing on time and on budget
• Material handling, equipment staging and site safety
• General construction documentation (work orders, daily logs, etc.)
• Conducting construction project meetings

Requirements

• 7+ years of Hands-on Construction Site Supervisor experience
• Experience supervising multi-faceted projects in the commercial construction field (telecommunications, clean room, hospital or similar environments a plus)
• General working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and MS Project (or similar scheduling software)
• Construction scheduling experience
• Effective client negotiation and follow-up
• Excellent communication/problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage costs for on-site expenditures
• Ability to be deadline and detail oriented
• Ability to monitor, manage and develop good working relationships with subcontractors
• Ability to adapt to new locales
