IMMEDIATE NEED! A leading Power Engineering client in San Ramon, California needs an experienced Senior Transmission Line Engineer, BSEE with PE and high voltage US utility experience. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities

• Use your expertise in Electrical Power Transmission Engineering to manage and design High Voltage - 62 kV to 500 kv - Transmission Line projects, including both electrical and physical aspects of above ground and underground installations
• Develop project scope, proposals, estimates, and budgets
• Develop engineering documents, specifications, and procedures
• Follow California Standard GO-95 for transmission line design
• Assist in obtaining permits such as DOT, zoning, easement, etc
• Coordinate installation and commissioning with clients, and subcontractors, with some field work required

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
• US Professional Engineer registration ( PE )
• At least 5 years of experience working for a United States electric utility company and/or a United States EPC firm
• More experience preferred, up to 20 to 25 years, which will bring the highest salaries
• Expert in using PLS Cadd, PLS Pole, Tower, Sag 10, Caisson and other related design programs
• Knowledge of California standard GO-95
