CIVIL/STRUCTURAL AUTOCAD DESIGNER - Great contract opportunity at a well respected firm in central North Carolina. Projected assignment 6+ months. Local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil structural design for electrical substation projects
• Develop AutoCAD designs for grading and drainage, foundations, anchor bolt plans and details, steel structure erection plans and details, develop as-built drawings
• Review structural steel shop drawings and resolve Civil and Structural design issues

Requirements

• Minimum 2 year Civil/Structural/AuotCAD related Associates Degree OR other related Technical Training
• Minimum 3 years working experience with Computer Aided Drawing and working knowledge of Drafting (CAD) using AutoCad and/or Microstation design/drafting software for civil structural applications
• Need working knowledge of MicroStation V8
• A PLUS to have familiarity with electrical substation civil related design
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communications
