A large Paper & Pulp company in the Northeast is looking for a Mechanical Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating with and providing technical leadership to the entire operations group to assure safety, quality and efficiency throughout the papermaking process
• Actively seek ways of improving current methods, systems, and processes to provide customer satisfaction
• Ensure that projects get completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and laws as they affect projects
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting

Requirements

• BSME degree required
• 5 years experience the Paper & Pulp industry,preferably in a paper mill
• Experience with track costs on capital projects
• Experience with project management and good organizational skills
• In-depth knowledge of environmental, safety, and workers’ compensation laws, plus the ability to stay current on same
