A major wireless Telecom carrier has a contract opportunity for a UMTS Optimization Engineer in Austin, TX. This is a 3-6+ month contract position. Analyze clusters within market for missing neighbors Analyze individual sectors for appropriate containment and pilot dominance Optimize problem areas to improve the KPI's Issue work orders for changes Drive test analysis Provide justification for cells and areas that cannot be further optimized. Minimum 5 years work experience in RF Optimization. Minimum 2 years, hands on UMTS optimization is a MUST. Thorough understanding of RF ancillary equipment and function. Familiar with UMTS RF Design Requirements.
